- Aces of the 56th Fighter Group of World War II, a temporary exhibit about the tenacious fighter group and the experiences of ace Maj. James C. Stewart, June - September 2009.
- The International Year of Astronomy, a on-site and online exhibit on a series of topics in astronomy and famous astronomers as a celebration of the IYA, February - August 2009.
- The Museum of Flight Tower at Boeing Field, a permanent exhibit on the principles of flight and air traffic control, opened May 2009.
- Spirit of Flight Photography Exhibit, a special juried photography exhibition displayed in the Museum’s Great Gallery and Sea-Tac International Airport, June 2009 - January 2010.
- The Berlin Airlift—A Legacy of Friendship, about the Blockade of Berlin by the Soviet Union shortly after the end of World War II, January - February 2009.
- American Society of Aviation Artists 2008 International Aerospace Art, a juried show featured over 50 paintings and sculptures by artists from around the world, June - September 2008.
- The Memorial Bridge Experience, highlights local historical events and landmarks in the neighborhood of the Museum, open since June 2008.
- The Pathfinder Database, honoring men and women who have made significant contributions to the development of the aerospace industry in the Northwest, open since September 2008.

- The Holtgrewe Model Collection, a collection of 1/72 scale models and a database of over 400 of aircraft flown during World War II, open since November 2007.
- Via Airmail: America Takes Flight, the history of airmail and the birth of commercial aviation in the United States, open since October 2007.
